Re: Fendt 307
Why a 2 furrow plough? Isnt it a bit small (would take a long time to plough your fields wouldnt it?).

Re: Fendt 307
(I think) this is "deep" ploughing? in the dutch polders they do this to lift the sand up to the surface to grow stuff like baby carrots;-) some guys plough down to 5 feet and stuff! I read about it in "classic tractor"

Re: Fendt 307
Ok thanks. Here we plough 6-10 inches (15 -25 cm) usually & we use rippers to get depth for root crops such as potatoes & carrots.

Re: Fendt 307
In Holland they usually plow around the 30cm deep. This tractor is not like we see around here plowing, this one is rated at around 70 engine HP. In some places they also plow some really heavy clay and then you need that much for that size of plow. And about taking a lot of time. Most fields in holland are small.

Re: Fendt 307
Guess what......I just found the book:-[ His name is Van werven His fendt 926 is 1 of only 62 ever made! He says the cameco works bad in the furrow, it only works well when pulling the fendt. it has 11.5 litre 525hp KTA-19c cummins engine And it weighs 26 tons!! It also pulls a JD8400 sometimes.
