Massey Ferguson 135 & PZ Zweegers CM-165 drum mower, Perth, Tasmania, summer 2002.

The mower has broken down (a broken belt on the drive). The rollbar on the tractor has been removed, to allow it to work under some trees.

From the other side.

You can see the belts hanging off on this one. The side skirts need replacing on the mower too (it was new in 1979 or 1980, so it has done well to last 20 odd years I suppose).

Funny to see that things, produced 20 kilometres from here, are used on the other side of the world.

Re: Massey Ferguson 135
Thanks guys :-)

They are the best mower that I have had anything to do with.

This particular farmer also has a PZ Grasspa tedder rake, which he has had good service from (still in use). I think it was purchased at about the same time as the drum mower.

Now of course they are sold in the Vicon colours but there are alot of PZ mowers & tedder rakes (Haybobs & Grasspa) in use here in Tasmania still.
