Re: JD 4650
The 4630 is out of order and the engine of this tractor has been more than 22000 working hours running in a state farm.. where the drivers didn't beware for the tractors.......

Re: JD 4650
power shift transmission, and hidrostatic front wheel drive. In Hungary the farmers very hate the hidrostatic front wheel drive.

Re: JD 4650
Hello Gilbert,
In Hungary in the years 80's the deers was the first tractor type, which the kommunist government accepted , to use on the national state farms. Usually these tractors are running also now ... only at the farmers.

Re: JD 4650

Re: JD 4650
A few guys here still run the hydraulic FWA JD's & have had a pretty good run out of them (4440's mostly).

I wonder if some of these newer models (6000, 7000, 8000 series) will be running with 22000 + hours on them?

Cheers from down under,

The Cowboy ;-)

Re: JD 4650
My dad used to have a 4850 in the 80's and even then it had over 10,000 hours and they had to replace the transmission but they are solid.
