Ok, thanks for that JD.

Over here you are allowed duals but from memory the legal road width is 3.5 or 3.6 metres, so as long as your duals comply with this, you are fine.

Ok, we need an escort on the road (with flashing amber lights & signage) over I think it is 3.4 metres.

Over here u see the biggest and widest tractors on the road, 4WD's with triples that kind, with huge air drills behind them.
I don't think there is a limit here in Alberta, but i'm not sure.

Maybe that reflects the type of farming you guys do over there Rony (big machines needed to get the job done). Maybe there isnt as much traffic in some of those areas too (only farm related traffic not main roads?)

O ya, we just drive on the Big Highways with such tractors, why not;-) I had a problem once in a coullie, had to pass a bridge over the river, i was halfway on the bridge, and then a Semi came down the hill on the other side, oh oh haha:-D he had to back up
