Arcane,i workt all together for 3 years in Canada 1 year in Australia over a year in Denmark and traveld the world round.
made a lot of holiday trips to the US and CN.
one brother of mine lives in L.A.the other in western CN where i also know a lot of people wich i visit when we go over there again(planned for next summer Alta.+B.C.)
P.S.have still al ot of pics on paper wich are not scanned in yet,lots of work,tried with digi-cam :-[

most of the grain further nord of central Alberta is swahtet priror to combining to get it dryer.
manly because most parts of Alberta are 1000m.above seelevel,growing season is short.
usually there are no winter cereals so harvest start`s not befor september.

There isnt alot of grain swathed here in Tasmania. We use swathers / windrowers mostly for grass seeds, canola & some other seed crops (vegetable seeds) & marrowfat peas.

Now heres a question. On our farm we have had many massy combines, 750's-860's we've had them all, and i comebine with them to this day, and when ever i look at one goin full boar they smoke so bad. They are not bad on fuel, and i had a few and all of the perkins did this, expecialy the v8's, can anyone tell me why? they dont burn oil or waste gas, so why such black smoke?

rotary fuel pump,bad setting... i wonder why too :-[
others had rotarys too and dident smoke but Perkins did and most models are hard starters too,even in not so cold weather.:-\ ?
