Re: 2150 fastrac
I had the steering break on my 155-65 eighteen months ago. I too was lucky only traveling at 3 or 4 miles per hour. I didn't take any pics of it, sorry.

jameso,

I see the JCB 2150 is wearing Nokian tyres, how do you rate them?

Re: 2150 fastrac
jdeere,
Thankfully no.
The part that broke on my 155-65 was different to the 2150 part. Because of the safety implications I contacted JCB straight away, they checked their records and (world-wide) no other machine had reported breaking that part. I put it down to the way the front of my tractor was lifted, whilst replacing a coil spring, a few weeks earlier.

Re: 2150 fastrac
the nokian tyres arn't that good, even nokian havent seen wear on their tyres like we have. my boss only puts them on the 2 white diesel tractors because of the miles they do on the road. there is next to no grip atall on them, you could get stuck on a bannana skin.

this also hapend to me on my 185 the front rite trunion bearing colapsed the day i baught the machine. bacuse the bearing had colapsed there was nothing to stop the front wheel going where it wanted to it bent the drive shaft and ripped all the torque bolts from the bearing housing's lucky i was aproaching a junction and the tractor was almost stationery. scary stuff:-(
