Stuck in the WET
Found some old photos of our last wet season, I'm told this was one of the last machines working as everyone else was parked up due to the wet conditions.
Tractors are both MT865s

Re: Stuck in the WET
You would have had some fun getting that out wouldnt you?

Those track machines are notorious at digging them selves in, so I would have liked to have seen the one at the front tring to get the bogged one out ;-)

TAS
from what I have seen these things get bogged bad because they normally get pushed too far, in this case everyone else around was parked up & this one kept going till it sunk.

Re: Stuck in the WET
From what I have seen Fred, they seem to dig themselves in, on one side. You are right, I think the secret is to stop the minute that you go down & let someone get you out (also an applicable message for wheeled tractors too :-)

Re: Stuck in the WET
I almost got the John Deere 9400T stuck the other day. Went to a piece of land with a foot of water on it, was dark, couldn't see it fast enough, suprisely i went through it, lifted the cultivator and packer up, and made it through:-D

Oh that makes sense :-[ Cause I was hauling manure today, and there was no water on our fields just snow, lots of snow. Thank goodness for MFWD!!
