CFarmsInc 36563 82 PixAll either
This is my PixAll I use to Harvest Pioneer Seed Corn. I've
been growing Pioneer Corn for going on 4 years now. We also
grow pioneer seed beans.
Re: PixAll
Here in Ontario pioneer comes around and harvests the seed
corn and takes it away themselves. You must grow alot of
seed corn to do it yourself or do all seed growers harvest
it themselves and haul it to the plant?

Take care
Re: PixAll
Agcofan we are so pushed for time on getting our crops out
and everything ripped that I got this to help Pioneer. I
have a nieghbor that has his own Pixall for the same reason.
He and pioneer bring their Pixalls to help us and we let him
run our pixall on his ground. We borrow 4 walking floor
trailers from my neighbor to put on our trucks and pioneer
hires a bunch of other trucks to help. We usually have six
Pixall's running together and four tractors with dump wagons
and around a dozen semis. I am trying to find my pictures of
last year but my house is a hell of a mess. I know of three
other people in nearby counties that have their own Pixalls
and a friend of mine uses New Idea Uni system harvestors to
pick his seedcorn. My pioneer rep tells me it varies from
area to area He said people near the plant in Mt. Pleasant,
Iowa just let pioneer pick every thing and don't supply
pickers, trucks, or tractors.
Re: PixAll
Ya that makes sense. Iowa has bigger fields and the towns
are more spread out then here in Ontario. I am still gunna
take a drive around Iowa for a couple days some spring or
fall. Beautifull place for farming.

Take care
