Tasmanian Farm Pictures
Some more pictures from a friends property at Cressy, in Tasmania's Northern Midlands, taken in January 2004.

This one is looking east, along the main laneway. Note the width of the laneway, making it easier when moving cattle & sheep. There is a processing pea crop in the paddock on the left.

Hawthorn hedge & old English oak trees form the boundary on the right.

Re: Tasmanian Farm Pictures
Looking west along the laneway.

On the right is the pea crop, in the distance on the right is the ryegrass seed paddock & two headers parked up (a New Holland TX-66 & a John Deere 9600 that I have previously posted shots of).

Still looking west.

The holding yard & cattle yards are in front and some round bale silage is on the right.

The ryegrass seed crop is just out of shot, on the right (the gate is open to the paddock).

Looking east again, onto some pasture, on the river flats.

I have posted some pics of a processing pea crop in this paddock before (under field crops).

The Macquarie River is just down the paddock & around to the right.

Looking North, along a smaller laneway.

The processing pea crop is on the left. Hawthorn hedge on the right, forms the boundary with the river flats.

A thebaine poppy crop (in the same paddock where the processing peas were grown in 2003/04), taken in mid summer, January 2005, looking towards the East.
