the Birotor combine
This combine is a prototype. The concave slowly turns with
the rotor but much slower. It was desgined by Mark Underwood
out of Burr Oak, Kansas and built in 1993. It has great
capacity (330HP CAT) and is very simple. It has only one
auger, very few drives on the right side of the machine and
a 400 bu grain bin without extensions.
It's making is described in the book "Dream Reaper".

Re: the Birotor combine
A combine with two rotors and crawlers, that is the
'Birotor'. But what is the real story behind this one? There
was a company called 'Agro Technology' which developed a
prototype of a bi-rotor combine. John Deere bought the
rights of this technology from that firm.
