Re: 8030
They are not the best looking machine as a FWA, a bit like the White's.

Each to their own, I guess.

See post #222707

The FWA looks like it doesnt belong on the tractor, it looks to be too big & makes the tractor look like it is laying back; thats what I was meaning.

Re: 8030
Yeah, I just meant in how they looked to me (not identical to the White's but ugly looking compared with other FWA tractors like Massey, JD, etc). They just dont look right, to me.

Re: 8030
A different White to the one I was thinking of Erick. I was thinking of the models 4-135 & 4-155.

Re: 8030
Is an FWA, what we in England call an ''un-equal wheel, four wheel drive'' ?
The tyres on that tractor look wrong. The front and rear do not seem to match.

Re: 8030
FWA = Front wheel assist. I usually call something that isnt a 2wd a 4wd, when it really is a FWA I guess, to be technical.

Was just using FWA to illustrate the difference in the models.

Re: 8030
The old White's don't look weird with front wheel drive at all. They look tough, and I can certainly say they are. Our 2-155 mfwd can out pull our 8200 JD any day any time. The ride is not rough at all, at least no worse than any current model tractor.
