Sarge 369874 157 Ferguson versus John Deere either
Ferguson versus John Deere
This happened here in Southern-Finland August 2006 near Turku, village called Lieto. I must say that must hurt.
Ferguson was coming manure spreading in the field and getting another load when she hit's the John Deere who was going to the field nearby seeding grain.
And those tractors were lost for ever :-(

Re: Ferguson versus John Deere
Yes, Ferguson used both side's brakes but John Deere brake's only left side becuse right side brake was turned off!
And when Johnnie driver notice that it was too late brake again with both side brakes. Then she attempt dodge on the right but she was too late . And both were driving too fast on the road like that.

Re: Ferguson versus John Deere
What was the damage on the JD? because it seems to me that the ferguson drove in to the dual of the JD, so that the Ferguson is the only one whit a lot of damage.

Re: Ferguson versus John Deere
The JD is fix-able. just a new halfshaft and axle trumpet housing, and maybe some minor tinwork.

About the MF, when the bolting ears are broken off the engine crankcase, it is hard to mount a front axle bracket.... They might want to buy a new engine for the tractor and use the old one for an irrigation pump or sawmill :-\
