Redrilling Poppies.
Redrilling a failed poppy crop, October 1998, Perth, Tasmania.

The crop failed due to heavy rain after emergence (poppies dont like wet feet).

The Ford 6600 / MF 55 combination (pictured in one of my poppy drilling posts) is doing the sowing job.

As it was dry, the irrigators were set up straight after we finished, to water the crop up.

Re: Re drilling Poppies.
I don't know of anything that likes wet feet, well maybe rice.
We have been wanting to plant our onions since December.
and are still waiting for the Field to dry out, and more rain coming this week.
