Re: Dust Storm
I feel sorry for our boys in Iraq.
I see in the news that they have been having sandstorms.
Lets hope they get the job done safely and get home soon.
Once we have finished kicking Saddams ass we can bomb France
on the way home as they are pro Saddam! :-D

Hi Stuart
Nice to hear from you. How was harvest, after this dry
season. Did you get any rain after all?

Greetings Stefan

Re: Dust Storm
France doesn't support Saddam, but it doesn't support a
unilateral attack from the US an UK, which is not aproved by
the UN. without a UN mandate, this war is a crime, whichever
way you put it. And since Saddam is still not proven guilty,
the attack is not justified. forging evidence is not a way
to justify war.

btw, i'm not french, but belgian, and proud of my government
for the first time.

Re: Dust Storm
At first I couldn´t believe this anti-european attitude in
the US.I really fear an arsenal like the US´s in the hands
of such maniacs.

Congratulations, now you have become the new Nazis
inclusive world-domination-dreams

Re: Dust Storm
I'm gonna go with Lance and keep with the dust storm. We
get them quite frequently in Kansas. The soil is very fine
and sandy which lends itself to being blown quite easily.
However, it has been raining here for the past 3 days, so
nothing is blowing anywhere. This was a very timely rain as
the wheat is just now beginning to grow again after being
dormant all winter long.

For those of you using this as a political post, take a look
at the address 'farmphoto.com' not 'political activist.com'.
I am as proud of my country as the next guy, but this is
not the place to air our grievances.

Re: Dust Storm
Russ, you can have some of our rain. We have been under a
flood watch for the past 2 or 3 weeks seems like. As I type
it's raining right now. Our wheat was looking terrible a
month ago, but it is beautiful right now.

As for the political discussion, Russ summed it up nicely,
so I won;t make a comment about it.

Re: Dust Storm
Sorry. But when I read Dave´s comment I got carried away.
People who like to bomb other countries for nothing make me
angry.

Re: Dust Storm
I forgot to say the pics of that Duststorm are quite
impressive. Fortunately those phenomenons don´t take place
where I live.

Re: Dust Storm
Thanks to all who commented on the "farm related" dust
storm. We could do with some of the rain you are getting in
the US at the moment. After last years drought the soil here
has very little cover, leaving it exposed to the elements.
We in northern Victoria had rain on the 21 Feb, we got 190
points. Most of the country side has been worked to control
summer weeds and to conserve moisture. We are waiting for
more good followup rain and a good season to follow. Last
year was a disaster. Australia at the moment is importing
grain to support the feed related industries.
Good to see you are getting rain over there.
Regards Stuart

Re: Dust Storm
I thought you guys were told not to discuss the war on here.
This is a "FARM PHOTO" site in case some of you don't get
it. And oh yea,I'm a Bush supporter just to throw my 2 cents
in.

Re: Dust Storm
Hi Stuart,

How many inches does 190 points equal? I hope that you guys
get some rain soon and have a good crop year. If I could, I
would send you some of our rain through email.;-)

Re: Dust Storm
Lance, I will talk about what ever the hell I want!! Half
the guys posting on this site are just young school kids and
dont have a clue what they are talking about anyway. If they
stop talking crap about colour wars then I will stop voicing
my opinions about the real war!

Re: Dust Storm
Well Dave, you know it's not right to discuss war on here.
I'm not going to discuss it, I'm not getting banned from
this great website.:-(
