This is our case ih 7230 pulling a 965 john deere reversible 7 bottom plow and a home made hydraswing crowfoot packer.

I guess a crowfoot packer is a type of furrow press Bart?

Yes i have a couple more but i haven,t figerd out jet how to put more than 1 picture on a page.Yes i use the packer so it does not dry out so much.

I am in southern Alta.Lots of irrigated land is still being plowed.

I don't remember ever seening anybody plow anything on the praries :-[ Some light tillage in a bad thistle patch, but not plowing a whole field.

To add another picture Bart, just click on reply at the bottom of your post then add photo & follow your way through there (very easy & user friendly) :-)

I didnt realise until you posted the second picture that it was a square plough.

Here is one more picture.There are very few of these plow around.I love it,you can plow up and down like a roll-over-plow so you don,t waste time driving empty over the headlands.They are are great for lighter soil,but on heavy clay soil i don't like them.
