Re: John Deere 3800
We demo'd a 3800 last spring. They are a great machine, but we didn't buy it because they are stopping production on them :-( .

Re: John Deere 3800
No, it is a totally different machine. It has a much better cab, better engine, more reliable etc.

Obviously it is not very popular that production has stopped.

They needed a bigger machine with a higher reach, 7mtrs would be good

Re: John Deere 3800
JD stopped production of telehandlers in October 2006.

If they had started building telehandlers with a clean sheet of paper, rather than painting an out-dated Matbro green. They could have had the best selling machine on the market.

I suppose some of the other manufacturers, in a very competitive market, ought to be glad they didn't. Sad loss of a good machine.
