The giant against the dwarf!
Here a Massey Ferguson 8250 and a MTZ-pronar 1025 A. The
8250 has a 6 cylinder turbo. The capacity is 7.4 litres. It
has 196 ISO HP. The 8250 has a 32 forward/reverse Dynashift
or 18 speed Powershift gearbox.
The MTZ-pronar is 74 hp. :-) I think the 8200 is a nice
serie. The have a great look and they are great tractors. If
I bought a 8200, I would bought a 8200Xtra. The normal 8200
tractors are good, but the Xtra tractors are in some aspects
better.

Re: The giant against the dwarf!
The MF on the picture is not a 8250 but a 8270-80.The
frontaxle of the 70-80 is the ZF APL 5052.The final drives
of these axle era much bigger as the Carraro axle in the
8250.The engine side plates are different too.You can see it
on the transfers. At the 8250 they are much longer.

Then it is a 8280. I wasn't sure it was a 8250 or a 8280. I
quest it was a 8250, but i had it wrong. A 8280 it is then!

The 8260 today also has the big front hood from the 8270 and
8280. The design of the 8260 changed last year.

Re: The giant against the dwarf!
Is the 8260 look changed when the Xtra serie came, or did
the change come earlier?
