Re: LM430 Telehandler
It would appear it was backfilled but not properly packed...

How do you like your LM-A? We were considering one in the past, but went with a TV145 instead, which has so far proved to be a good move. Still would like to get my hands on a farm telehandler though...

Where abouts in Canada are you? Got a good number of questions for ya, do you have messenger perhaps?

More pics (of your operation) please. :-D

Re: LM430 Telehandler
it was actually a hole dug so we could put in a light post. When the driver was leveling the dirt he backed into the hole. There was no damage. We also tried out a TV145 to replace our 9030 bi-directional but we found it was to big and clumsy and the telehandler carries more weight

Re: LM430 Telehandler
Lol some telehandlers aren't too bad, I tried an LM430 at the local dealer, didn't spend much time in it or actually do any work with it, but the visibility wasn't too bad so long as you kept the boom pretty much right down. Backing up is another story, little better than a skid steer.

Good to see you still snoopin' around Dave.

Re: LM430 Telehandler
I agree dave, the telehandlers are really bad for visibility. Especially the new holland machines. Reason being, the boom is mounted beside you with the motor and transmission at the back, right behind the boom, this makes the boom sit higher. To have the boom low enough to see over top, usually your bucket is touching dirt. The Cat for example is much better because the motor is on the side and the boom is mounted further toward the back and lower in the frame. These type of machines are alot easier to see over the boom.
