Ursus 335 with front hydraulics
This is my neighbour's over 30 years old tractor. He got sick of the snow and decided to make a snow plow in front of the tractor. He uses it for land work as well...

The little wheel which was taken from trash can, is used to fine regulate the height when plowing snow, that the metal piece doesn't ruin the road. The same wheel can be found on the other side of the plow. When working on land, the wheels can be removed.

When winter comes, and there is nothing smart to do, he goes in his workshop and thinks of this, and other similar "inventions".

Only thing missing now is, SNOW :-[

The "hydraulics" work like this:

In this picture, you can see a chain and a pulley from an old corn picker, and on one end of the chain the lift arms are connected, and on the other end, a pull rod.

Re: Ursus 335 with front hydraulics
In this picture a hook and a piece of chain can be seen.

When the rear hydraulics lift, the hook pulls on the chain, and by a connecting piece (which is bolted under the right rear axle) the chain pulls on the connecting rod seen in the picture above.

When the rear hydraulics go down, so does the front...

Re: Ursus 335 with front hydraulics
Here can be seen the connecting piece that converts the up-down movement of the chain, to front-back movement of the rod.

When the front hydraulic is not in use, it is in a position which is not the lowest part of the tractor, and that way doesnt get in way when going through tight places...

Re: Ursus 335 with front hydraulics
When plow is mounted, it has 3 positions; straight, left or right.

The neighbour has a great idea of makinf a PTO on the front hydraulics, so he can turn hay that way...

Re: Ursus 335 with front hydraulics
@Gerbert: We couldn't find a cylinder big enough that will not break under plow this heavy... People over here ask too much price for a little cylinder, so he gave up on that...

And this way he can be more precise in lifting, lowering the plow.
