The old homestead
This is my house, not really what I wanted, but my fiancee
seems to like it. It was finished in spring 2001. We did a
lot of the framing and drywall ourself. We dug the pond too.
The geese are moving in now and driving the dogs nuts. My
house is about three miles from the bins and hog buildings
at the home farm.

Pettern, I farm 8500 acres in southeast Iowa in the USA. My
dad lives 40 miles east of me and he farms about 5000 acres.
We have cattle in the big white building on the left side of
the hay shed picture and hogs in the picture of the finisher
and nursey. we also have cow calf pairs in another pasture.

Funny too se pictures from the other side of the world,
pictures of how you live and farm... Our world is so big,
but still so small....

Pettern, don't worry we are in the fields right now and im
takin pictures every chance i get. sorry if this isnt
redable but i got drunk while i was pullin smoke and cant se
relly stayt right now
