GS 379268 367 First new Fendt 900 in North America either
First new Fendt 900 in North America
This is the only new Fendt 900 series in North America. It is a 933 and it was at the Farm Equipment show in Toronto, Ontario. Last week it was in Quebec as well. Must say I was quite impressed. Especially the cab and controls have improved a lot.

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
It is not just a Euro tractor that they sent here, it even has NA spec liftends, and uses swayblocks instead of links....:-\

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
It's not just a Euro tractor, and yet it still has the red wheels? What about bar axles? I know of a number of 924 & 926 models with loaders, any word on these new ones? Did you find out the delivery date and availability?

Any mention of new models of the smaller series?

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
This one had the 96" bar axles, all english warning stickers, NA lights and light sockets. I didn't ask about the wheels, but I like them better in red. I did not ask about loaders, but I assume you can get them. They should be availalble in the summer.

The 700 and 800 just got a few updates, nothing special.

Almost every "factory" loader was a rebranded Quicke loader. They also had a NH T7050 (not impressed) which is also available late summer.

The 2007 new fendt are all supposed to get red rims, the tires we have on order for our 930 is also supposed to be getting red rims.

Claussens 2006 Fendt 920 has the red rims. This came with the Pirelli tires that are on it.

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
360 is it's MAX engine horsepower. nominal is closer to 330HP, PTO probably around 300. But European horsepower is measured slightly different which results in slightly higher numbers. (Not talking about PTO vs Engine HP, but HP in general)
A 936 should be pretty close to a 8530. A 933 is comparable with a 8430.

Flyingdutchman, nice pic's of that Fendt. My Uncle was also on that show.
Could somebody give me the translation of NA spec liftends and swayblocks?

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
The lower links of the 3 point hitch have closed ends on them which can be lengthened and shortened. The sway blocks are instead of the adjusting arms on the side of the lowerlinks to block how far they can sway. The sway blocks are located right beside the PTO gear casing. These do not actually lock the arms in a set position, they just guide the arms at the upper end.

Re: First new Fendt 900 in North America
Just making a correction to Flying Dutchman's comment. The 936 is 305 PTO HP, the 933 is comparable to the JD 8530. Both of those are 275 PTO HP.
