Re: john deere 3415
JD will stop the production, and NH will produce their own telehandlers instead of using Manitou's starting in July.

Re: john deere 3415
Production was stopped in october. i had a john deere factory visit in january 07 to mannheim and the zweibrucken factory where the combines, choppers and until october where the handlers were made. that part of the shed is now empty-nothing left of the production line.:-( We were told the handlers didn't really sell in america so there wasn't enough of a profit margin to keep making them when the uk market is so small in comparison.

I thought they did it to have a full line of equipment. Isn't europe big enough to make something? a lot of handlers makes do it

Re: john deere 3415
never herd anything good about john deere tellehandlers. i drove a 3400 and a 3420 for 4 years and we always had problems with it. Mechanics were always fixing it!:-(
