NFTS Display
This is a pic from the National Farm Toy Show in Dyersville Iowa (USA) November 2006. This fellow's display earned him Best of Show. This is a depiction of a typical midwest USA farm from the 1970's

Re: NFTS Display
That is a 1/16 scale Oliver 1950-T FWA with a Hinker cab fellow's. It was released by Ertl/RC in the spring of 2003 along with a Cockshutt 1950-T & Hinker cab. This same casting was used for the Oliver 1950-T 2002 National Farm Toy show at Dyersville. This model as some of you farm toy collectors know is a one-of-kind,because it had dual wheels, fender fuel tanks & an inscription for that particular tractor with year & date.If anyone of you people would like to see the NFTS Oliver 1950-T,just let me know & I can upload a pic.

Re: NFTS Display
Thanks Cowboy.....it's truly AWESOME to vist the National Farm Toy show every November. For anyone who is not familiar about this show,it has been held for 28 years now in Dyersville Iowa.It is hosted by The Toy Farmer magazine for 3 days of the 1st full weekend of Nov.each year. Attendance is typically 10,000-15,000 collectors from the US,Canada,& Europe. Lots & lots of farm toys to buy & look at,& there is shopping & other activities for the ladies also.
There is also the farm toy auction which brings some very nice pieces & a gold show tractor is always auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting some local non profit cause.
There is also the AWESOME farm toy displays to check out too! The best of show earns that displayer another gold show tractor that is made specially for that year's show.
