Re: county power drives
gregan I must say that you have some serious high class on your tractors. This one is very nice restored as I can see. And i guess its worth a lot in the Brittish islands. We have a lots of Countys in sweden but no one like this and no Roadless either. You hardly can find any old 4wd tractors here like these smaller ones from the 60´s and 70´s

Great pic and tractor. :-)

Re: county power drives
Nice tractor. In Sweden, as Stark said, all County are 4WDs, what is the difference between this tractor and a ordinary Ford 5000 (7000) ?

Note: Thus I have driven a lot of Fords, I don't know much about them!;-)

Re: county power drives
This 5000 is fitted with a Brockhouse tourk gearbox no clutch pedal just a lever forward and back you set of slow and reve to increase speed.

they also have 11F which is a sticker indicating the tourk box.:-D

Re: county power drives
Sharp! I also had logged several hrs on Ford 4000's to 6000's and hadn't heard of a County Power Drive. Very Interesting;-)
