A 7530 seen today at the local dealers, on an 07 plate so i guess it'll be leaving soon. First one I'd seen and its rather big...well huge really

Re: 7530
i didnt expect the 7530 to be so big because it was meant to be the lightweight high power haluage tractor that John Deere had been missing since the 7010 series. The 7730-7930's are the bigger framed models with more horse power so i guess i expected them to be huge too lol

Maybe it's just such a huge tractor, makes the tires look small. :-D

Richard, is it much bigger than the 6030s? I don't have any weight numbers yet... the 7430 is to the 7630 what the 7930 is to the 8130.

Re: 7530
josh, the fronttires are 420 from what i see, so thats very small

here has about every tractor larger than 120 hp 650 on the back and 540 on the front, and higher then about 200 hp has 710 on the back and 600 on the front.
that 7530 should at least have 650 and 540 in my opinion

Re: 7530
It looks a good tractor, but I prefer the longer wheelbase 7930, anyday.

Re: 7530
Josh, in relation yes it did seem alot bigger than the 6030's.Im 6 foot 5 so stuff seems smaller sometimes but i was struck by how big it was. the bottom of the door opened came up to my neck. The 7930's door come to just above my eye i think so its not far off height wise. I dont know the actually height figures without looking in the book

Re: 7530
I've looked to the broshures, and then the big difference is the tires; 20.8-38 on the 6930 and 20.8-42 on the 7530. Wheel base is just 35 mm longer on the 7530, lengt app. the same, height differs 15 cm, that seems starnge though the cab is the same, and the tyres are just 4" higher.

Weights are similar to the boths, depend much on the ballast.

I am looking forward to see them tomorrow!

Re: 7530
Today I've been to the local dealer and compared the different JD's. Sorry that I didn't have the camera available, but they all stand at a row so it was easy to compare.

There is a difference between 6930 and 7530, mostly caused by the bigger tyres, but the hole tractor seems higher. But it still looks much more lightweight than 7930. The 6930 got 650/65-38, and the 7530 got 650/65-42.

The 7930 is far more "heavier" in the construction, and bigger. The tyres are also bigger, this one got 650/85-42.

Another big difference is the cab between German 69/7530 and the US 7930. IN my opinion the 7930 is better with more space and better feeling in the controls.
