Got to use this demonstrator for a while, i thought it was very nice to use, very simple. Apologies for the crap quality of the images, had too much work to do and only had my camera phone :-p

This telehandler looks from brochures and as seen on shows very rare and handy. It seems like Claas has found a good replacement when Cat stopped making telehandlers in Europe.

The Scorpion looks a good telehandler, although from what I have heard its a bit expensive.

Re: Claas Scorpion 7040 Varipower
Judging from the amount of electronics involved in the thing, it would be rather expensive. Even the park brake is electronic - its basically a rocker switch :/

Aren't these ones built by Kramer? the ones from Kramer Allrad. That's not a bad make. But expensive yes... :-)

The merlo 26.6 spt on our farm also has an electronic handbrake it decided to stop working last year while in the on position and would not move at all thankfully it was only the switch which had malfunctioned and relatively simple to repair
