Re: pictures?
Ik kan nog wel aan foto's komen van zo'n jf combine. Heb ze wel eens bij mijn baas zien liggen. Als ik daar weer kom zal ik ze even meenemen en inscannen.

Ziko inderdaad een hele mooie combi :-)

Re: pictures?
Sometimes it is good to keep old catalouges. Here is two pages from a machinery catalouge - Lantmännen 1977 - about the JF MS combine. I have never seen anyone driving in real life, but on shows I've seen it.

They were made in Denmark by JF and looking in my catalouges they stopped selling in Sweden 1985.

Re: pictures?
This is another pic from a catalouge. The JF MS combine had 3 models - 6 - 8 and 10 feet header.

There is one for sale in Denmark on the internet - 8 feet - price € 671!

PS: Nice pics of the Claas combine!

Yes, they have merged with German company Stoll, and are now working under the brand JF-Stoll. See their web-site www.jf-stoll.com

Re: pictures?
I have mailed to the company for some extra information.

And they have told me that the machine was built between 1961-1985.

Nowadays is the machine licenced built in Lithuania. You can see it on http://www.factory.lt/index.php?id,314

Re: pictures?
Intresting info. I've looked at the Lithuanian link, and there it was. It is good when old engineering get used again! ;-)

Re: pictures?
when I saw the old add first, I thougt it was a weak construction.

I still think that, because I find it hard to believe that one wheel and only attaching to the linkage gives a stable construction.

but when it is produced for moren then 45 years, itmust be strong.

And is 1600 litres saving capacity not a bit low?

Re: pictures?
I think that there are some support connected to the front of the tractor, if you look at my first copy of the catalouge you see the tractor "park" into the combine, there is something sticking out from the combine just where the tractor front will come.

As I earlier said, not many were sold in Sweden, and that's surely because low capacity and maybe weak construction, like other old JF-stuff.

Re: pictures?
Hi

would that be a mirror on the right side of the header? I guess otherwise you can't really see much?

How do you get the tractor out of the combine?
