Re: MX305
These pictures are a few days old and we've already put 100 hours on the clock. So far all its done is pull a DMI field cultvator and crumbler.

The exact cause of the fire on the MX 270 was never determined (it was too burned up) but it did start underneath the cab.

Hauling tractors with duals on is very common around here. Our roads are wide and flat with very few tight spots. The driver hauled this one 35 miles from the dealership to my farm.

Re: MX305
Russel: Does always the duals belong to the tractor? Here it's common that we buy the duals separatley, and if you change tractor and the new one has the same tyre dimension we keep the duals.

Re: MX305
Lennart: In almost all cases the duals will stay with the tractor. Every large MFD tractor in this area will come with rear duals and quite a few will also have front duals.

Re: MX305
Is a bit different over here too.

Most of the bigger tractors (150 HP +) like Deere & Case IH come with the rear duals fitted (not alot of front duals seen here), so these remain with the machine (& stay on the machine when / if it is sold or traded in) while I have seen quite a few guys retro fit (fit at a later date) rear duals to smaller tractors (100 -150 HP), usually clip ons. These also tend to stay with the tractor if it is sold or traded in.

Cheers,

TC.

Re: MX305
Thanks for the answers! Here most bigger tractors also has duals, both rear and front, but as earlier mentioned they often are traded separately.
