Re: Versatile 9682
Hi Lance
The tractor is going great, does the job so easy and a big
saving on fuel compared to the old White 2180.
We have had some rain, a storm went through our farm just
over a week ago, patchy, varied from 1/2 to 2 inchs.
At the moment we are pre drilling urea as the photo shows.

Re: Versatile 9682
Stuart, what is urea? I'm sure I have heard of it, but can't
recall what it is. Glad to see you guys have gotten some
rain. Here it has been a wet spring, and we are finally
starting to plant corn and tobacco. Only a couple weeks til
cotton. Take care.

Re: Versatile 9682
Urea is dry granular fertilizer, here in our area of
Nebraska it is applied using the pull-type spreaders in
broadcast.

Re: Versatile 9682
Hi Lance
Urea is a dry granular fertilizer 46% N
alot of urea is spread from spreaders here also, because of
its volatilty it is better to be put under the soil.
If left on the surface, a heavy dew or light shower of rain
you can lose most of it.
Lovely Autumn days here, blue cloudless skys, still waiting
for follow up rain to start seeding.
Regards Stuart
