Shot of the seed drill the power harrow has been removed for obvious reasons just a little too close to the tractor when lifted fully for my liking the hopper is about 2 inches from the lights on the rear mudwings so have to be carefull when travelling

A lovely shot looking from the front of the tractor it was about 3 o'clock when i took this photo as you can see the barley has been rolled before the grass was sown You can also see some seagulls and crows in the distance hopefully i can get this rolled tomorrow to get the seed out of reach for them

Re: sowing grass seed
When did you put the spring barley in Michael? Couldnt you undersow at the same time that you were sowing the barley?

Cheers,

Re: sowing grass seed
Hi tas the barley was sown last thrursday i know it would save a pass if the grass was mixed with the barley seed but can you be sure of an even spread over the field and besides it means more overtime for me doing it this way
