Re: cultivating
Fendtuur: I dont know what you mean, should I buy a new Fendt or NH, Why? These tractors have worked for over 50 years now, why shouldnt they do it for another 50 years?
They always start, anthere is almost never anything wrong with them. the work they do is as good as newer machines would do it.... SO WHAT?????:-\

Re: cultivating
I have a fergy cultivator too!
I put it behind David brown 996 and it broke into little bits:-[

Re: cultivating
Cant understand it broke. this one has done cultivation on our farm since 1953 when it was bought new, also been pulled by the Ford 5000.

Dont know excacly with the HP, but here in denmark its splitted up between Ferguson 26 and 31, so I guess thats the HP. the one with f.loader is a 26 the other a 31....:-)

Re: cultivating
Lots of HP for small tractor, Maybey I will buy ferguson someday.
The reason it broke is, it was working full depth up to the frame!
I dont remember why, I think to break the old tree roots:-{

Re: cultivating
We farm about 11 ha of our own, but we also do a bit "contractor work" for our neighbours, such as harvesting (Claas consul) or harrowing (Ford 5000/ Kverneland kultisvans)
The fergies are mostly used for small jobs, such as manure driving, a bit cultivation, front loader work....
We also use them for collecting stones, because they dont damage the crop, and they do not get stuck so easy in wetspots....;-)

Re: cultivating
Here a pic from loading manure on the JF AV40 sprayer, pulled by a Volvo BM T 430, wich belongs to my neighbour.
The Fergie still makes a good job here too, but you need strong arms for steering.....:-D
