Re: Chevy Power !!
I know it has the narrow belts for rowcrop work, but these
tracked tractors sure don't like the soft spots....

Re: Chevy Power !!
You know why the tracked JD got stuck? CAUSE ITS A JOHN
DEERE! Even Cat Challlengers with narrow tracks wont get
stuck. Like I said, the only reason why you get stuck in
soft spots is because you have the wrong brand!

Re: Chevy Power !!
It's got less to do with the brand and more to do with the
hand! You put a good driver in a deere or a cat and you
won't have near the difficulties that Phil sees. If you
know the soil type/properties you are operating in, and the
capabiities and limits of the equipment you are working
with, you can do a lot of work that wouldn't normally get
done. Just because someone can drive a tractor doesn't
necessarily mean they know how to operate it!

Re: Chevy Power !!
The pain in the ass with these pseudo-crawlers is, that the
front wheels of the tracks are too small, which causes them
to go bulldozing mud in a wet spot, instead of climbing over
it.

Re: Chevy Power !!
Yep dirtdr is right but why give attention to this crap ??
everyone knows that they cant throw around such crap about
brands without supporting it with good arguments.
