Sterculia monosperma

Also called pheng phok in Malaysia, the Chinese Chestnut belongs to the same family as cacao and kola nut. The seeds of the pod are boiled or roasted.
They have a pleasant smell and taste.

Good to be back!
I still have some trouble using my old macintosh computers on the site and even with high speed ADSL it takes more time than it should but I'll be around!
