Yes, I second that. Thanks Herman.

Also the wind generators are very interesting for us non-Europeans. There is more and more interest in non-traditional methods for farmers to make money. Energy generation may be a good options for many landowners.

Re: Koolzaad 2007
yes tas its been raining here scince thursday had a little over 60mm here with some more about half hour away(looking at the radar) seeding will now commence in the next few days once we can get onto the paddocks! need at least 3 days without rain for that. This is impecable timing and amount for us cant remember such a wet "break" to the season here for at least 10 years!

Re: Koolzaad 2007
Thanks for your reaction. Indeed it is oilseed rape, normally flowering in the month of may, this year very early due to exceptionally warm weather in holland. You can clearly see the dry spots. Greetings to all of you, Herman

In the distance you can see the Dollard, a beautiful wetland in the northern part of holland.

Re: Koolzaad 2007
And yes Stu, there's a lot of windmill activity in the northern part of Holland, mainly because it is usually very windy there. I think most of windmills are exploited by governmental companies.
