Re: 7500 SPFH

I have some question concerning this post.

Can you give me the size, brands, of the tires ?

The tires looks very close to the stair platform, Did you
have to make some modifiaction to fit this size of tires ?

Do you have some information if the pluging problem of the
SPFH 6050 series does not affect the new 7000 series.

Did you already try ?

If someboby else have information concerning this problem he
can contact me by email (

Thanks in advance

Re: 7500 SPFH
The tires are 1050/50R32 made by Michelin. It is a bad
picture but there is actually 2 1/4 inches between the tire
and the ladder. But, there is only about 1 1/2 inches
between tire and the IVLOC shield in the front. It is a
factory installed option without any additional
modifications. This option cost in the neighborhood of about
Re: 7500 SPFH
Oh, and one more thing. The width of the machine as you see
it is about 12'10". As for the plugging issues of it's
ancestors, I understand that the transition chute between
the cutterhead and blower has been changed. It was lowered
in the front to increase the angle of material flow into the
blower, giving it more of a straight line path. The
mechanics had the KP rolled out onto the floor, hopefully I
can get somemore pictures before she leaves!!!
Re: 7500 SPFH
