I've worked with a set of rols like these before. Problem is getting all of them on a pallet to get them to a different field.

Not a nice area. Too build up as you can see on the background. I'm glad my parents are moving up north to Wervershoof near Enkhuizen. More farming there too so I can cycle around taking pics whilst visiting. :-)

Nice thing about the cabs on these is you can wear a very tall hat and still not touch the roof! :-D

this might seem like a stupid question but what is sugarbeet? farming in australia ive never herd of it:-[

Check out the sugar beet harvesters Andy, under the harvesters thread (you will see some mature beet there).

From what I have seen on the net & in Farmers Weekly, I would say that beet looks a bit like turnip bulbs & is related to red beet (or beetroot) that you might grow in your garden.

Where we get sugar from cane, the Europeans get sugar from sugar beet ;-)
