Why you using this device for cutting grain? It is not see working in Germany for 80 years. Is it a oldtimer pesentation or a special crop?? :-\

They use the old reaper and binders here still to make chaff (the old fashioned way); some say it makes the best chaff this way ;-)

such a reaper has suvieved in one of my old barns. My father (now 87) called him horse killer, because three horses can´t pull him the whole day. I remember myself on the "binder days" here in Gemany in the 50th. But such reapers are only known from very old pictures :-\

Yes, for example my lawn mower sheeps prefer chaff (glume and very smale cornels), more then hay so I think this is worthfull fodder for ruminant. But I rember again to the 50th. Many pulltyp combines drag contaiens to collect the chaff like an early Claas sign demonstrate: :-)
