Belarus 825 tractor similar to the one we had on our farm.
73 Hp, four cylinder diesel would start in -25C weather. We
used the tractor on a front end loader for doing chores.
With those tall narrow wheels it could carry a 2000 pound
round bale through three feet of snow with no problem. This
biggest trouble with the tractor was its tendency to mark
its spot wherever you parked it. Oil leaks were a common
occurance, the fittings or hoses never broke but the fitting
just would not stay tight. As long as you took a cresent
wrench and checked over the fittings every time you chanced
oil or performed sevicing the leaks were minimal. For the
price which was $20,000 Cdn with the loader, it was a pretty
decent tractor. I would like to hear from other people on
their luck with Belarus equipment. :-D
