Spring Planting
New to site, Thought i would post some pics of planting this spring. Do as much no-till as possible but have some acres to cultivate. Do one pass with 7420 and M.F. cultivator then ready to seed. Cultivator is alittle big for tractor 19ft (6m).

Re: Spring Planting
Welcome to Farmphoto, Wally! It will be nice to see more from your operation!

If the cultivator is works hard it sure will be heavy for the 7420!

Re: Spring Planting
BOBMAN,the 7420 was not for the EU market.
HP wise about the same as a 6620.
115 pto = 135 eng.HP for the 7420

Re: Spring Planting
Glad people liked the pics. The cultivator on the 7420 is heavy for the tractor go about 4-5mph don't even have enough hydraulic outlets. The satalite on the tractor does not have auto-steer used for tracking when spraying, and spreading fertilizer, can be transfer to the combine in the fall. Auto-steer would be nice alot of $$ though. We farm cash crop in the northern part of Ontario, 650km north of Toronto
