making a reverse alarm and need help
im in the start of my coursework for my technology and design project im making a reverse alarm that will be operated from the inside of the tractor at the shuttle. im going to fit it to a Massey 6290. If anyone out there has pictures or information about one that they know has been made please add another post to this thread. im realy stuck because i don't what to put on the research and investigation of the course work as i don't know of any one who has made one before. thanks!!
Re: making a reverse alarm and need help
Well, it's quite simple, ask at the MF dealer which wire on the dynashift switch is the wire where the signal fot the reverse is, than you get an thyristor, you put the gate wire on the wire for the reverse, and the anode and the cathode on the alarm. It is also possible that the information for the computer to drive the tractor forward or reverse, is going through the same wire, only with an other voltage, so than you have to make a resistance for the gate. For so far that I know is the signal that the dynashift switch gives to the computer is that the reverse signal got an lower voltage than the forward signal.
So I hope that you got something about this information, and good luck with building that system on your MF.
