After the mower its time for the tedder, the tedder is also new for this season the tractor is only 4 weeks old aswell.

what crop are you mowing? are you going to make it on bales or harvest it with a forage harvester?

hey fbaxter what do u think of your new deere we got 1 yesterday a 6830 and its a ball of shit :-( our 6620 sounds far better more power as well will hav 2 get the 6830 chiped or something we put it on the forager yesterday and i was gona put the NH TM150 back on the forager we lift 20f of grass had 2 leave it in 10f for that 6830 not inpress to im a pissoff JD driver and the stick that im getting every1 around us was watching us with this new JD putting the claas 890 into it today if it drys up :-\

Zetormatic, We are just a farm, we get a contractor in with a forage harvester the rest of the machinery belong to the farm.

Bobman, The new tractor only has 50 hours on it but so far its been really good, alot more power than the 6310 it replaced.

Yesterday we got started lifting silage, first job is to rake the grass up this rake puts just over 30ft into one swath for the forage harvester.

Is that Rake a Kuhn? 30ft is about 9 meters?
