Amai, that last plough won't bend that easily, I think the scrapfarmer will pay you good money for that plough.:-P Where are the four black cilinders for on the plough?

Re: some ploughs
the black cilinders on the plouhg is for stone protection, when there is a stone in the ground and the force is bigger than the force of the oilpressure, than the leg of the plouhg can come out of the ground

sorry for my bad english ;-)

Re: some ploughs
These mechanisms are very popular here too, especially as the majority of our soils have some stone content.

Re: some ploughs
The plough is a Gregoire Besson. Looks a bit like the Kuhn ploughs, with the long distanse to the first furrow. You need lots of lifting capasity, and a heavy tractor. Here in Skandinavia we use short wheelbase tractors, for manuvrability. So the Kverneland and Øverums, with a short distanse to the first furrow, are the top selling here.

Re: some ploughs
Myes, here you don't see Överum. Kverneland you see sometimes. But a lot of Lemken and Steeno

Re: some ploughs
Well, Kverneland is a good plough. I think it's better then Steeno and Kuhn and maybe as good as a Rabe plow.

Re: some ploughs
Thank you Gert for helping me out. Here in Sweden Överum is (naturaly) big, its a swedish plow. And offcourse Kverneland. Greggoire (the scrap plow) sell some here and so does Kuhn. But they doesn´t work so well here in these clays.

And offcourse stone protection you have to have :-)
