Re: 40,42,44,4640
Spotted on tractorpulling in Holland couple of weeks ago. French import I thought ( regard the sign on the frontwindow ) I doubt about this being a true 4640. Look the frame, it is smaller than the hood. Have they made a 4640 2wd out off different parts or would this be a conversion of a hfwd 4640??

Re: 40,42,44,4640
Looking at your first pic, I think it is a HFWD converted to 2wd. The 4640 hfwd has the small frame like the 4440 and others, while the 4640 2wd has large frame.

Re: 40,42,44,4640
Here in Spain we have a lot of 2wd versions mainly of 4240 and 4440 models but some 4640 also, and I saw a 4630 last year. Not are very good tractors with suspended implements because it´s really difficult to keep the nose planted when you attach to this tractors a big spreader or a sprayer but now are very popular for bigbaling because they are very maneouvrable, reliable and have a lot of power.

Re: 40,42,44,4640
I´ve never seen one.I´m not sure but i think that, like in the rest of Europe, the 4840 was not available.

Re: 40,42,44,4640
the 4640 had metal bars bolted to the frame on both sides from the front to the radiator. the 4640 in this picture has them removed
