Re: Three generations
Thx, RV. On our farm we had both BM 36 and BM 430, se my second tread. When Volvo BM merged with Valmet we chosse JD instead because Valmets bad reputation earlier in Sweden.

Re: Three generations
Before Volvo BM and Valmet merged Valmet was a very small brand in Sweden. A combination of small brand and unreliable sales/service made them not so affected as used, and the they got a bad reputation.

Re: Three generations
You often see that Lennart. The qualityrate of a brand isn't always the most important. A strong dealernetwork and good service is very very important too. You see just few used Valmet 00 02 or 03 series for sale in Sweden. Would love to own a nice 1102 or 1203 4wd. But only to find in Finland and just too expensive to import at the moment.

Re: Three generations
I found this nicely kept (or restored) Valmet 903 outside our JD dealer some days ago, so some of them come to Sweden but not many.
