Biker: I think the tractor in your pic are an Hungarian Raba - licence built Steigers.

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
As far as I know Rabe's arent related to Steiger in anyway apart from the looks maybe. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
so, what do you think about this one?

this one really comes from a baltic state (Lithuania), wheras the one I postetd before msut be from Poland or Hungary.

As I am not familiar with eastern tractors, I have no Idea, what brand this one is...

Arcane,i think Raba is a license built Steiger but has Raba axles and engines.

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
jdeere, you are right - look at Josey's treads under tractors > Raba!

RV4444, I think you are wrong about the T150K, as I remember when they were sold in Sweden in early 80's they had a V6 of 9.15 liters and 165 hp. Is there alternative models maybe?

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
When where these tractors build, 70's, 80's? We still had the 'iron curtain' thing going on. And they could import American! Steigers when they liked?
I thought everything that was American or West Europian was bad and not allowed.

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
Arcane; as I understand Hungary was a little more open and intrested in Western technology, and mayby thats why they are coming so long today both economically and in common welfare.

Re: JCB Fastrac 8250
Arcane,as far i know from Metlaki, they where allowed to get certain makes in Hungary, like JD.
some tractors like the Steiger and IH where built in license and paintet yellow.
this way they createt jobs in there owen land, instead of import everything.
@Biker,i am from canton TG,between Bodensee(lake of Constanze) and St.Gallen city.
where abouts are you from?
