Lexion in a theather role!
At our home town Halmstad 700 years aniversary there was set up an historical theater in the harbour. One section was about farming history and a main role in this section has this Claas Lexion 460....

Sorry for bad quality due to late night performance, and to big range for flash.

...the Lexion acts as podium for the speaker in this part, a famous Swedish stand up comedian.

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
Here the old farmers from the 1600's meets the modern monster of a combine, and the speaker tells the farmers from the past that this monster makes 100 mens work.... the farmers get angry and manage to chase the combine away...

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
Yes, it was a fantastic show -other roles had harbour cranes, big forklifts, a bus, some vintage cars from the 20's and the 60's and a moped! Everything connected by Halmstad now and then - over 600 people were on the "stage" - a harbour plan. 4000 spectators each night from thursday to sunday.

I have some more pictures but they are not farm related, but if you want I will post them!

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
Hi Lennart it's up to you. If you want to avoid the risk of Peer Reviews I shall be glad to get the pics by e-mail but I think some off-topic pics in a farm-related thread are definitely OK if a member demands. :-)

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
I shall post more pictures in the end of the week!

Tom; no, we are not so many today, but historically and today Halmstad is a food industry town, and after some discussions they understood the importance of farming. Swedish Farmers Association works a lot with telling politicans how inportant farming is, and here is one example of the succes.

Stark1; Peter Wahlbeck (had been better with Tomas Pettersson, but hes maybe to much farmer....)

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
Lennart I agree, T Pettersson should have been better but i think it is the wrong brand on the machinery i the show. He is a truly Ford man

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
On request I post this non farm related pictures from this historical theater play. It was hard to get good pictures because of abcense of light, it started at 11 in the evening. It all took place in Halmstad Harbour, and in the start all musicans and some dancers came in on fork lifts or as here carried by a big crane. 4000 people watched each night, 4 nights played.

Re: Lexion in a theather role!
The play were guided by a man and his grand daughter. First scene was from the stone age but then it was no light and no pictures, nest was the farmers section, then it came to the year of wars when Halmstad former danish became Swedish. Here some soldiers in front of the big choir. Halmstad became Swedish 1642.

Now we come to modern times and the 50's - a nice restored VW and some more old cars enter the scene to music from the 50's and the 60's.
