More than 10 hectares.. Taiwan too has been small.... Somewhat uses
the large cart not to be convenient...

JD, seems big gear for such small areas & one doesnt normally associate farming in that part of the world with modern machines & mechanisation.

I meant parts of Asia.

Certainly the images we tend to see of farming in parts of Asia is oxen ploughing, families working in the fields, that sort of thing, certainly not big, modern tractors.

I know parts of Asia have started to modernise, with the industrial revolution that is taking place there right now (especially in parts of China). McCain's have set up a potato processing plant in China & have put up plenty of centre pivot irrigators to help water the crops & give them a relaible supply of product for their factory.
