Hommelhoff 437642 1 Haymaking 07 either
Haymaking 07
Here some pics of this years haymaking. There are pics from our farm, and from a neighbour farm.
I will post them in the order they have been taken.

On this first pic, my neighbour mows his grass with his Fendt Favorit 515 and Kuhn mower.

Re: Haymaking 07
We were next to mow the grass. We use our Ford 5000 and Taarup harvester for that job...;-)

I will geocode all pics, so that you can see them on the map...

Re: Haymaking 07
When the hay had dryed enough it had to be baled. here I was helping my neighbour, to rake together his hay. We used his Fendt Farmer 311 and a borrowed Fransgård rv390 rake.

My neighbour baled at the same time with the 515 and his Claas Rollant round baler...

Re: Haymaking 07
after some hours something went wrong with the 311, wich caused that the pto couldnt be started, so we went to the man from who we had borrowed the rake and took his 309 for the rest!

Re: Haymaking 07
thanks for the comments.!
Unfortunately I cant tell the hours, because there is no meter on it, but the ford i almost 7000 h. and ithink its nearly the same with the 311...

Her you can see the rake fits the 309 much better...

Re: Haymaking 07
The steepness caused the 515 to end in a wetspot at the bottom of a hill and get stuck, so i came to help with the 309...

Re: Haymaking 07
More pictures. Of course I also made some pics of our hay being baled. We used our Ford 5000 and our NewHolland super hayliner 68 for that job. The Fergie can also pull the baler, but its a hard job for it, specially if its hot....

@Gerbert: What do you mean?

@BAPMAN: We put it into the barn for 5 hours, and it repaired itself!

Re: Haymaking 07
The bales were taken home with the fergie and a neighbours 4wheeled trailer. The trailer is a original Vestas, and even all four tyres are original....
We took off the door of the fergie because it was very hot...

Re: Haymaking 07
i mean that it makes so many rows of grass, every 3,9 meter if i'm right.

Another thing. I wonder, you have small machinery and little land, do you manage with only farming or do you(or your father, i don't know) also have a job?
