jdeere I think that you are absolutely right the disk harrow were made by Rome. That is pretty much the disk harrows that they use in that area. I am sure that know that the Rome disk harrows are manufactured in the state of Georgia, USA.

In Costa Rica Rome disk harrows are very popular for sugar cane and pineapple seedbed preparation, cause the soils are very heavy (a lot of clay). The most popular ones have 17-3/4 inch separation betwwen disks and disk size of 32 inches (model TACW). There´s a Florida company that makes very similar disk harrows in a brand named Terrariser.
