John Deere 8760
I was debating if I should post the following photos, since I had posted photos of another 8760 recently.

They had several nice John Deere tractors on this grower’s lot, but after getting authorization to take some photos, I was denied the privilege by some young arrogant fellow.

I now understand his point; he was scared that I was taking photos of tractors and a later time come by and steal some. Tractor thieves are a big problem in this area and in a lot of other areas of North America.

Very nice 8760! It's a real beast! A pity you don't see them over here, there a bit oversized for Western-Europe ;-)

I'm happy you decided to post these pics nevertheless.
These machines are real beauties and the -40 series is even nicer than the -60 in my view. :-)

Re: John Deere 8760
Thank you guys!

MB trac 1800 I have a photo, showing a 8640 and a 8630 I believe, but unfortunately I wasn't able to take a close shot. I had to take the photo from behind a fence. I will try to post them over the week-end.

Re: John Deere 8760
Nothing.... do you know what´s the purpose of adding that strange fender in front of the tractor? It makes the tractor look a bit strange, but it´s still a beautiful machine. For my taste I would put duals instead of singles in such a big tractor.
I have once the same problem as you with a guy who didn´t allowed me to take pictures at some tractors in a dealership.
Take care.

Re: John Deere 8760
Victor,

Usually the platform on the front is used for a water, herbicides or liquid fertilizer tank, but this one seems to be too small to me for this purpose.

Maybe this platform is more for protection of the front for bad drivers or to add warning lights.
